JACKSON POLLOCK: 'BLIND SPOTS'

It was a 'no photography' exhibition so the photographs inside the exhibition and of the work itself aren't my own - (sourced from google images).

The work in the Jackson Pollock Blind Spots exhibition was incredibly expressive. In many pieces he used layer upon layer of paint to achieve the built-up effect. His use of colour

varied from piece to piece, however I preferred his collection of monochrome paintings. ______ _____ _____ _____

As well as his colour palette, the scale of the pieces changes throughout the collection. With some paintings, standard portrait sizes, and others over 8m long. I thought his style could be recreated using different coloured spray paints on fabric, to create an abstract print for garments.
