Some photographs taken of the permanent collection in the Yves Klein room in MAMAC, Nice (August 2015). There was also a selection of his photographs from 'le vide' (the void), 'zona de sensibilidad pictórica inmaterial' (zones of immaterial pictorial sensibility) and 'actions'.
We were given a lecture at the beginning of the course, about the best way to approach the foundation year. Like the figure in 'leap into the void', we were advised to throw ourselves into the unknown, make the most of every opportunity which presented itself and immerse ourselves in the course, in order to produce an eclectic portfolio which would enable us to procure places at our chosen universities the following year.
